New Manhole Tool Saves Lives and Prevents Sewer
Back-ups
February 24, 2005 Minneapolis, Minnesota,
for immediate release- Grappler Specialty Products http://www.grapplerusa.com an
OEM that specializes in original, patented tools for Public Works
professionals announced their latest addition “The Manhole Debris
Catcher.” This dynamic new tool catches dirt, rocks, asphalt and
concrete while a manhole is being adjusted or rebuilt. “The Manhole
Debris Catcher was designed specifically to avoid injuries and possible
death by reducing the number of Confined Space Entries made during
routine manhole repairs,” says Inventor Andrew Sullivan. Additionally,
this product prevents sewer back-ups related to messy Manhole repairs.
Many Cities now spec this tool for any projects that require
contractors to dig, repair or adjust their Manholes. The Grappler
tool-line is known for their high quality and durability; and this
Manhole Debris Catcher is no exception. Not only will it easily
withstand the harsh environments of manhole repairs-- it is very easy
to use. Just lower the debris catcher to bottom of manhole then begin
repairs. Unit catches the dirt, rocks, asphalt and concrete that fall
into the manhole while repairs are being made. When manhole repair is
completed, simply pull the Manhole Debris Catcher up with the debris.
No need to call in the Jetter or Vac! (end)
